- Ireland at Biofach 2010
Thirteen innovative Irish seafood and food companies will be participating at this year’s event, which takes place from 17–20 February. Biofach is a global meeting place for organic food industry professionals and companies. It will be the most important trade event for organic food in the international calendar this year.
This year will be the first time Irish farmhouse cheese features at the show with two Irish companies showcasing their produce: Inagh Farmhouse Cheese from Clare and Mossfield Organic Farm from Offaly. Other participating companies include organic meat specialists The Good Herdsmen, health supplement company Virginia Health Food, specialist tea producers Solaris Botanicals from Galway and a seafood contingent including The Kenmare Salmon Company, Burren Smokehouse and Fastnet Mussels.
