Kepak Group is Ireland’s most innovative meat company with a rich heritage of over 50 years of meat craft.  From the establishment of a family-owned butcher shop in 1966, Kepak has grown significantly and today the group has a turnover of €1.5 bn and employs over 4,500 employees. Kepak has 12 manufacturing facilities throughout Ireland and the UK. The Group processes 450,000 pigs, 500,000 cattle, and 1.7m lambs per year, and markets a broad range of fresh and value-added meat products, serving the foodservice and retail markets. For markets outside Europe, the Kepak Group is represented by its wholly owned subsidiary, AgraKepak International. Sales of beef, lamb and pork are managed through AgraKepak International for products from Kepak Group and partner suppliers. Our most famous brands are McCarren’s for pork (Plant IE 608) as well as our beef plants, Kepak Longford (Plant No. IE 533); Kepak Clonee (IE 317); Kepak Kilbeggan (IE 2007); Kepak Cork (IE 329); and Kepak Athleague (IE 317).

It is the only sustainability programme in the world that operates on a national scale, reducing environmental impact, serving local community more efficiently and protecting the extraordinary rich natural resources that our country enjoys.
